Lilypie First Birthday tickers

And their off!

The Team in Training Spring 2008 season has officially begun. They had the Kick-Off Celebration last week. We weren't there :o( we aren't on the team :o( boo, hoo. I miss seeing everyone, oh and running too :o) I decided that after 3 back to back seasons I really needed a break so I chose to sit this one out. I'm realzing now how much I'm missing it as I talk to everyone getting ready for it and as I get the fundraising emails. I'm saving mine for the Summer when I go back to the triathlon team and train for Pacific Grove. I told Olivia that hopefully in a few weeks I can join them on Saturday's for some nice short runs.

I will be supporting our friends in other ways though because quite a few of them are fundraising and our friend Brian has been nominated and has accepted to join the Man/Women of the Year Campaign for LLS. It's 9 weeks of intense fundraising. I know he'll kick some butt and raise lots and lots of money. I hope everyone has a great season. Hopefully my little legs will be joning them soon.

Not much else has been going on. Kind of a boring week on the home front. It's tax time...yuck! We've gotten 2 of the 3 forms we need to file our taxes and we are crossing our fingers for good news. It'll be our first taxes together. We are also keeping our fingers crossed for good tax news because we are in the process of planning our vacation for this year :o) Our goal is to take a nice vacation each year so we are hoping to find a new place to visit this year. Some sunshine would be great for this grumpy girl. Is the rain ever going to stop? :o(

Whoa Nelly!

Where do I begin? This weekend actually ended up being a little busy for us although it was pretty productive once again.

Friday evening was HORRIBLE getting home. It took me forever because it was pouring buckets and there was a darn car up the embankment in Castro Valley :o( I finally made it home and then Rocky and I had to head out to buy a birthday present. We couldn't wait til the next day because we were meeting the lucky recipient for breakfast. We went over to 4th Street in Berkeley because we wanted to get the gift at Anthropologie. It was pouring the whole way there and the traffic coming home was pretty icky as well. We made it to the store about 5 minutes before closing so we got the gift and then headed around the corner to Spengers for dinner. A few hours later we headed home and although it was still pouring at least the traffic was not bad.

Saturday morning we got up early to meet Rocky's parents and cousins for breakfast in Berkeley. I gotta say I was super cranky, I'm surprised my hubby didn't make me sit in the car :o( I was grouchy cause it was early and it was freezing. The place was super small and there was only seating outside. Yeah, I was not a happy camper. Little by little though I lightned up :o) I guess I just needed some food :o) The place was Fanny Cafe and it was actually a really cute place with simple but very yummy food. I got two poached eggs on a some yummy fresh bread and decaf coffee. OMG, it was so good. We hung out and gave Mrs. Sharlene, Rocky's cousin, here b-day gifts and then chit chatted or a while. We did have to sit outside but it actually turned out to be a nice day and it got a little warm :o)

We then decided to stop by a yarn shop in that area to check out the store since I'd never been there and both Rocky's mom and I needed needles. It was a cute shop but they didn't have what I needed so I didn't purchase anything. WOW, made it out empty handed :o) We also went to another little shop next door that had some interesting things I believe from India including a chest that was on sale and very cute. I bought it for either my yarn or the 5 gagillion blankies we own. It looks nice in our living room and hey I expanded from the normal Crate & Barrel stuff. I was pretty proud of myself. We all parted ways and Rocky and I headed for home. I pretty much just dropped him off, he wanted to go on a bike ride, and I continued my errands. I had to go to the yarn shop in Pleasanton to get some needles and other goodies :o) and I also needed to do some major grocery shopping. I did all that and finally made it home a few hours later. We put the groceries away and cleaned up our place. We finally got a chance to plop down and relax. I got some knitting done and around 6ish my brother/sister-in-law and the kids came over so we went to Japanese with them and then gelato :o) yummers! When we finally got home, put our jammies on and sat on the couch we relized we were exhausted and Rocky was feeling a little conjested. YAY, sleep in on Sunday!

Sunday I did get to sleep in a little but not too long. I had to get up and make some yummy black bean soup cause Ms. Olivia was coming over around lunch time. Both here and I had lots of yarn to wind and we thought it'd be fun to spend the afternoon just knitting. We did just that. We had lunch and then spent about 4 hours just knitting and chatting. Rocky even joined us with his crochet. He's been trying to start a hat he saw in a magazine. He did manage to finish it although it has some extra sections :o) haa, haa. I give him props though for figuring it out on his own and trying to hard to get it right. I think he's figured out what he did wrong and will give it another try.

So that was our weekend.

I just got back from WW and somehow I managed to lose another 1.4 pounds...WOOHOO! I did really good about staying within my points this week although a lot of the food I ate was out at restaurants so it's not always the best choices. I didn't do good at all this week eating my veggies and fruits so I'll have to get back on it this week. I must have done a few things right though because I stil lost some weight. YAY me!

I leave you now with a funny from this weekend. Daisy likes to watch t.v and sometimes there are certain noises that really get her attention. On Saturday there was a commercial on t.v. for a Dog Show that was at the Cow Palace in SF. The commercial had a guy talking about the show wtih a bunch of dogs barking in th background. Here is Daisy watching it. I think she really wanted to go to the show :o)

Inspired

The Spirit of the Marathon movie was great and definitely very inspirational. I'm not ready to sign up for another marathon quite yet but it's not out of the question in a year or so. The marathon followed 6 people who were training for the Chicago Marathon 2005, that's the race that Jeanette, Lael, Rocky & I did, so it was pretty cool.

I keep telling Olivia that she should do that race and if she does I will do it with her :o) then maybe that will be my last, haa, haa. I guess I'm just not gonna be happy til I have another good race. I'm feeling like I just can't end my marathon career with the way New York went. Finishing in pain and in 7 hours is not how I wanted to finish. So we shall see what the future holds. In the meantime I continue to let the ankle heal and maybe by the middle of February I'll start running again and in June we start training for the Pac Grove.

We had a lot of fun last night and it was nice seeing a lot of people from TNT we haven't seen in a while. It was a late night for us though and we came home to unhappy doggies. Daisy and Patch decided that they'd had enough of being alone, I think by the time we got home they had been alone for 14 hours :o( I came home and found Daisy reading InTouch Magazine. I guess she wanted to see if teal was her color.

Have a great weekend!

Spirit of the Marathon

A group of us are going to see this movie tomorrow in Walnut Creek. I just watched the trailer and totally teared up. I'm excited about seeing it.

Spirit of the Marathon is the first ever non-fiction feature film to capture the drama and essence of the famed 26.2 mile running event. Filmed on four continents, the movie brings together a diverse cast of amateur athletes and marathon luminaries.

As six unique stories unfold, each runner prepares for and ultimately faces the challenge of the Chicago Marathon. More than a sports movie, Spirit of the Marathon is an inspirational journey of perseverance and personal triumph; a spectacle that will be embraced by runners and non-runners alike.

Snow Flakes...

....are falling on my head! Okay not quite but almost. It's been FREEZING here and it has even snowed on Mt. Diablo. Last night we had the heater on and a nice small fire going. There is even a snow advisory for the East Bay Hills, hmm, wonder if it'll snow at our house. On my way in this morning my car said it was a nice cold 35 degrees :o( brrr!

Let's see not much else going on. Last night was a mellow night at home. I made dinner for us and then just watched a little tv and did some knitting.

Last week was a great week of eating and losing weight until I ate like a piggy on Saturday, oh well. I weighed in yesterday and had lost another 2lbs, woohoo, not bad considering Saturday's binge of yummy lumpia :o)

Happy Birthdayversary!

We had a great weekend, with lots of yummy food and good times with great friends.

Friday started out with pedicures and dinner with Olivia, Jeanette and Amy. We had a lot of fun giggling, getting our toes done, legs rubbed and massages by the massage chairs at the nail shop. The owner at the shop even let us pick a movie, we picked Charlie's Angels although we didn't really watch it, and then he brought us out a "special" drink, he had champagne for us. Wasn't expecting that at all so it was a nice suprise to the already fun and relaxing time spent there. We then headed over to Maria Maria for dinner. The only dinner reservation options they had were 5:15 and 8:30 so we went for the 5:15 but ended up staying there for quite a long time. We were having such a good time chatting that we decided to just hang out there. I'm sure out waitress wasn't too thrilled but oh well.

Saturday morning we didn't do much but run some errands. I had to pick up drinks and cakes for the party Rocky's mom was having. It was a 40th birthday party for Rocky and an Anniversary celebration for my brother/sister in law. They've been married for 18 years, wow!

The main group coming over for Rocky's party were his friends that he's had since the 3rd grade...YEP THE 3RD GRADE! Can you believe that? It's amazing to me. I don't talk to anyone even from high school and my longest friend as an adult I've only known since about 1996. It's really neat to watch them all come together and have so much fun, it's like they see each other every day, they kind of just pick up where they left off. Rocky see's his friend Jose once a week because he's the drummer of the band but the other guys he doesn't see as often. Some of them we hadn't seen since our wedding reception back in July. All of the except for 2 are married and the wives are super nice and I always enjoy talking to them. It was really nice that they all came out except for one of them we'll have to catch up with him later. Anyway, we had a great time with everyone.

Ms. Olivia also made the trek to Daly City, THANK YOU! and hopefully you've recovered from the ginormous amount of food we ate.

Happy 40th Birthday & 18th Wedding Anniversary :o)

Sunday I did nothing. I didn't even clean my house this weekend :o( whooops. I did manage to get a load of laundry in though so that was good. Hubby's got clean clothes at least :o) I literally sat on the couch once I got out of bed at 11 :o) watched football and knitted ALL day long. I managed to finish knitting a sweater for Ms. Daisy, a hat for Rocky and work on a scarf I'm doing so I was pretty darn productive with my knitting. I'll have to catch up on my chores this week and let my hands rest from knitting. It was a nice relaxing Sunday though.

Bored (300th Post)

WOW, this is my 300th post, that's is crazy.

Okay and I'm not bored, I wish I was bored but Oh no, I have plenty to do. MY DOGS ARE BORED :o( or mad at us for not taking them to Pt. Isabel since December, I dunno but they've decided to be bad. I have a feeling that it was Patch and he got Daisy involved. Since he has done this before.

We have a rug in our entry way and a little bench so that people can put their shoes on or take them off. A few months ago there must have been a string hanging from the rug and Patch/Daisy decided to start tugging on it and before we knew it the rug was a disaster. Little by little they tore the whole thing apart. I finally replaced the carpet over the holiday's and bought the same exact rug because it matches our stuff, it's long enough and it works. Well, it lasted about a month maybe not even that long :o( The rug was in perfect condition and now it's not. The other day we came home and in one day the managed to tear it up and not it's no good and time to go buy a new one. I'm gonna have to find a different one though.

What's funny is that I came home and held the rug in my hand, looked at both doggies and asked who did it. Funny how they both ran and hid under the table.

If you know how much I spoil my dogs or have ever been to our house you know they aren't lacking toys. So what is the problem? OY!!!! I still love them though and luckily it's been the rug and not the actual carpet like last time :o( This is their bucket of toys. Why can't they just play with those and tear those up? Huh?

I think Sunday is going to be doggie day at Pt. Isabel, they really need to get out of the house.

I am meeting the girls, Amy, Jeanette & Olivia, tonight for pedicures...YAY! and then tomorrow we'll be in Daly City at Rocky's mom's house for his 40th b-day party with family and his Daly City friend and to celebrate my Brother/Sister-in-laws wedding anniversary. Should be a fun weekend.

Happy Friday!

Caffeine Buzz

I am exhausted today :o( and all thanks to the 10 glasses of diet pepsi I had last night :o( I had dinner at Applebee's last night and was super duper thirsty so every time the guy filled up my glass I'd drink the darn soda and about 5 refills later I finally stopped. Of course I had to go potty like every 5 mintues but when I got home and tried to go to sleep I couldn't :o( I knew it had to be the caffeine in the soda. I don't drink that much soda at night and now that I'm on WW I only drink one soda at lunch. So I'm sure the darn caffeine in the super tall glasses I had added up and made for a LONG sleepless night. I was just telling Olivia about it and looked up online to see how much caffeine diet pepsi has. It as 35 milligrams of caffeine, regular pepsi has 38, ummmm that's not a big difference. I sure learned something new today. I thought it had a lot less :o( guess not and it also explains why I get such bad headaches when I try to quit :o( boo, hoo. Good news though, my decaf coffee only has 2 :o)

I was also really creeped out last night, I did it to myself and that's what I get for being nosey and looking online at certain websites. Yesterday I was reading someones blog and it had a link to a website where you can check if there are any sex offenders living in your area. I think Olivia and I looked on here a long time ago to see if any lived in our area in Walnut Creek, there were about 3 of them living on the same street. I live in Oakland now and there are LOTS but 2 of them live in our nice gated condo community...YIKES! That is very creepy. So last night I had worked my self up into creepyness and I was freaked out when I got home. Rocky had already left for band practice so when I got home I litteraly ran in the house, locked the doors, put my jammies on and stayed in our bedroom with the doggies, staring at the walls since I couldn't go to sleep. I could have sworn too that there were noises coming from the living room but I know there wasn't. I'm a dork, I know but geesh that is pretty creepy. Those people live a little to close :o(

Sushi Night

Last night we went to Sushi as we usually do on January 15th. The first date Rocky and I had was coffee at Starbuck's but 3 hours later we were still sitting there chatting and it had turned into dinner time and we were hungry. We tried to go to Havana's in Walnut Creek but it was packed so we went next door to the Sushi Restuarant and had dinner. I think 7 or 8 hours later our date ended, I think you could say it was a good date :o) and we had a good time. So now it's become tradition to have Sushi on our anniversary.

We had an early dinner so I had a little time to knit last night before passing out. Not much else going on. The weight loss is going okay. I'm down a total of 3.8lbs and I'm hoping to lose another 2 this week. I'm crossing my fingers for 2 lbs a week, that would be awesome.

Party Like a Rock Star

Today it's very foggy and cold out. I am pooped and it would have been the perfect day for a 3 day weekend. I need another day off :o( I'm getting old, I can't party like a rock star anymore, haa, haa.

Friday night we headed out to the city for date night. Rocky's friend is a DJ and throughout the year he always invites to come hang out where ever it is he is spinning. Only problem is that it's usually on Friday night and because we are usually training we can't go. We had no excuse this time and since it was Rocky's bday on Thursday and his friends on Wednesday we thought it'd be fun to go. We started out with dinner at the Thirsty Bear, it's a tapas style restaurant. We tried 5 different plates and had the sangria. It was all very good. Then we headed across the street to the W where Rocky's friend was going to DJ. We were a little early so we played tic tac toe for a bit :o) and then when his friend arrived we were able to move over to the "reserved" section on the couches where we had bottled service thanks to Rocky's friend :o) We each only had one drink but it was nice to not have to fight the crowd at the bar or pay for it :o) It was actually kind of relaxing cause it's a lounge type place and there is no dancing. So we sat on the couch and chatted with one of Rocky's friends who he handn't seen in like 18 years and listened to the music. I of course people watched the very interesting SF peeps that were there. I was kind of thankful for the couch because although my shoes were cute they weren't very comfortable. We had a good time and then headed home around midnight.

Happy Birthday DJ Chris!

Saturday of course we slept in and then we went over to Montclair for our Starbucks coffee and Noah's bagel. We walked around a little, hit the grocery store and then went home. I cleaned a little and gave the doggies a much needed bath. I was hoping to take them to Pt. Isabel but it was getting a little late and it was a little chilly for Ms. Daisy to be out. In the evening we headed to Daly City for our friends son's birthday party. They had at a playhouse type place so while Rocky ran around with all the kids I hung out and chatted with my sister-in-law. Afterwards the party continued at our friends house. We hung out there til about 10:30 and then headed home.

Our niece and nephew having fun at the b-day party

Sunday, I was up early because I needed to cook and get the house ready for guests. The other day I invited 4 of the ladies to come over for a small Stitch-n-Bitch, we are having our usual one with all the other ladies later this month, anywho, my small party of 4 turned into a party of 8 :o) Jeanette brought her hubby and my mother-in-law and father-in-law also joined us. The boys watched football while the girls knitted. Rocky and I cooked a combination of healthy and not so healthy food so that those on WW would be able to be "good" and not eat too bad. It turned out to be such a fun party. Rocky's mom had a great time learning new knitting things from everyone and seeing all the great projects you can make. We realized after everyone left that we didn't take as single picture :o(

Our weekend was busy but we had a really good time with everyone. Tonight we will go home and relax though and catch up on some tv :o)

Happy Monday!

Seafood and more Seafood

Yesterday was a day of seafood for me and it was all very yummy. Seafood is low in points when you are doing Weight Watchers so it's the pefect food to have when you are eating out.

Every year for the holiday's my boss takes the Administrative Staff in Oakland out for lunch to thank them for all their hard work and of course I ge to go :o) We usually go to Scott's in Oakland for crab. So for lunch yesterday I had crab and it was delicious. We had a good time catching up with the ladies in Oakland. We work with them throughout the year but all our communicating is over the phone since we are out in Danville. It's rare that we actually see them so it was nice to catch up with them.

In the evening Rocky and I headed out to Luka's in Oakland for his birthday dinner. I had invited his parents and a few of our friends. We'll be having a party with his brothers and a few of his other friends next weekend. I wanted to do something though on his offical birthday and it turned out to be a nice evening.

Background on the hat: I bought this hat as a b-day present for Brandy and then Brandy came up with the idea that we should pass the hat around each time a birthday comes up. So we've been doing that. At first we had said the girls should have it but then we decided that the boys should too. Brandy had it first, then Olivia, now Rocky and next it will be Jeanette. Doesn't he look cute in the pink b-day hat :o)

I had raw oysters to start out with and then the mussels for dinner. I think the wine I drank added up to more points than my actual food...haa, haa. I also had a very yummy piece of boston cream pie..YUMMERS!. I somehow even managed to lose 1 pound since Wednesdsay, YIPEE!

Our weekend is going to be fairly mellow. We have kids bday party on Saturday afternoon and then knitting on Sunday. Other than that I hope to lay low.

Happy Weekend!

HAPPY 40TH BIRTHDAY ROCKY!

New Year New Blog Name

Olivia, Lindsay and I shop at a very cute small store in Walnut Creek, Calypso Twist, which we love. We have found some great gifts there for our friends and for each other. For Christmas Olivia got me a really nice ring inscribed with my new title. I think it's perfect and I truly believe that we should all make a life for ourselves that we love.

We all have our ups and downs and those will always be there but I think you should love your life and enjoy it to the fullest. I think Rocky and I do that very well. We have amazing families and friends. We have two doggies that we absolutely adore and we haven endless list of hobbies that we enjoy doing. If the piggy bank permits it we travel whether it's on a nice vacation or a weekend getaway.

My hubby is turning 40 tomorrow and on the 15th we celebrate 3 years together. So I think with it being a new year and this week being a special one with celebrations it's a perfect day to change my blog name. Also good to change the name since it went from just a training blog to a blog about our daily lives.

Foggy Morning

Well the storm that was suppose to hit yesterday was pretty mild, at least in this area. Today though it's pretty foggy and chilly out and I guess we are in for another storm tomorrow :o( Is it summer yet? I hate this weather, I am just not a winter kind of gal. The heating at work is also down for a few days because they are waiting for a part to come in...urggghhh. I am sitting at work with a small heater on, my coat, two layers of shirts, my scarf and I think I may go to Starbucks to get some coffee to keep me warm. Being cold is the worst feeling.

Didn't do much last night. I caught up on some t.v shows and knitted a little more although I think I may take a day or two off. I've been so excited about knitting again that I've knitted my arthritis right back :o( how is it that I am 31 years old and I have such bad arthritis already. I even had to buy the Aleve made for people with arthritis cause it's easy to open :o( I'm getting old.

I plan on going back to the doctor but I need to call Kaiser and get a different doctor, my is a moron, I think it's time to get a new one. 2 years ago I went to him for the pain in my hands and his solution to my pain was that since I couldn't quit my job, I type all day, that maybe I needed to stop knitting and riding my bike (training for Wildflower at the time). WHAT? What kind of solution is that. So I guess I just need to get a care taker since it hurts to pretty much do everyting, hold a fork, hold chopsticks, open a bottle, hold the blow dryer and the list goes on. I went back to him last year and this time the said he thought maybe I had tendonitis or arthritis so he gave me and insane amount of motrin to take and had me do some therapy. The therapy seemed to help but other than the ultrasound therapy we could do the rest at home cause it's just massaging and Rocky can do that and I don't have to spend $25 per visit twice a week to go. Maybe there really isn't anything that can be done and I have to live with it but it won't hurt for me to go back and get a second opinion. I will do that soon.

Tomorrow is my hubby's 40th birthday...WOW! We will be celebrating with his parents and some of our friends.

Cranky

I am very cranky and aggravated at the darn cop who gave me a ticket a few weeks ago :o(

I got my info in the mail last night and my ticket is going to cost me $513....WHAT????? That is totally insane. If I chose to go to school, which I'm am, it's only going to cost $435, that is still insane. My hubby is going to acompany me to court and we are going to see if I can fight the ticket or at least get the fee lowered. I highly doubt I'm getting out of this one but at least we can see if the'll reduce the amount :o( The darn ticket makes me sound like a way reckless driver which I'm not. My violationsa are, running the red light and excessive speed :o( I DID NOT run the red light but I do admit running the yellow light and I was only going 10 miles over the speed limit not like 50 :o( I'm so not happy right now.

Anywho, that's my scoop on that. I did really well with my eating yesterday and am doing good so far today so I'm pretty happy. I especially happy that I'm not feeling hungry. So so far so good. It really helps that my boss is on WW also and I've got a challenge going with Amy and Jeanette :o) Whoever loses the most weigh by June 1st gets a manicure/pedicure gift certificate which of course we all want. Should be interesting to see how this goes so far the social calendar is fairly free but we all know how that changes quickly in our household :o)

Oh and the countdown is own :o) hee, hee

Back on the wagon

Looks like we are getting a little break from the rain today, or at least this morning. This weekend was very mellow for us since we didn't want to be out driving around in the icky storm. On Saturday Rocky and I ran a few errands in the morning and when the weather started to get icky again we went back home and hibernated til Sunday. Sunday morning Rocky had Kali and I pretty much hung around the house til the afternoon when we went out to the yarn shop.

I got a lot of knitting done and I'm pretty excited about that. You can read about my projects on my knitting blog which I'm hoping to be able to keep up this year. I may at some point have to combine both blogs cause it's hard to keep them both current.

I had started weight watchers right before the holidays and completely fell of the wagon. It didn't help that when I came back to work last week there was a 2 pound box of See's candies sitting on my desk that our attorney had sent us :o( It sat on my desk for a few days before my boss finally opened it and that was the end of that. Today though I start back up and at full speed. I REALLY need to lose some weight not just because I feel icky and my clothes don't fit but I'm not training for no darn triathlon with all this weight on. I'm pretty darn sure my swim suit and wet suit from last year aren't going to fit and I'm not buying new ones. My deadline for at least losing half the weight is June which is around the time Amy and I will start training for the Pac Grove Triathlon. Wish me luck, I seem to fall of the wagon quite often. I just LOVE food way too much.

Are we in Kansas?

Holy smokes we are having an insane storm. The news has been warning us about this storm for the last week but of course with the weather you never know if it's really going to be bad or just blow on by and be a small storm. Well, it's here and it's no joke a HUGE storm. In fact I'm about to go move my car because in the past we've had trees fall over here at work with just a little bit of wind and right now trees are sideways :o(

My drive into work was horrible not because there was traffic but because the water has ponded so bad on parts of the freeway and because the wind is so horrible. I had the worst anxiety getting here I almost cried. My commute to work is about 26 miles and I think I drove about 40mph and praying that I didn't spin out. If the weather is this bad after work I may just have to sleep here so I don't have to drive home :o( ME NO LIKE :o(

Today would have been a perfect day to stay at home under my new super soft blankie, fireplace going and some knitting but instead I am here......waaahhhh. Patch wouldn't even go potty this morning, well he did tink, but he didn't go on his walk and go poopy. Rocky said after he pee'd he ran back in the house. Shoot I think if they had gone on their walk they would have ended up in Kansas. Poor Patch. I know he hates the litter box but at least he knows he has that option when he can't go outside. He came back in the house and ran back to bed and under the covers, he's got the right idea.

If you have to drive, drive safely and Happy Friday!

12 Days of Relaxation

I am refreshed and back at work after 12 days off....WHOA!! I didn't realize I had been off for that long til I sat down and counted the days on the calendar. This of course included 2 weekends and 2 paid holiday day's here at the office. It was a nice 12 days of off and now I'm ready to start the New Year.

We had a very fun New Year's Eve. We had a full crab feast, steak, salad, bread, dessert, wine and of course champagne to ring in the New Year. We also played a very fun game of Turbo Cranium although Olivia, Jeanette and I lost and the boys, Phil & Rocky, won. Oh well, we still had a great time. The doggies were well behaved although the hated us for making so much noise at midnight, poor Miss Daisy was freaked out, but they did behave and were able to hang out with us all night and not be locked up in the room.

Yesterday we spent the day vegging out and then had a nice dinner at Maria, Maria in Walnut Creek. I had gone there on Sunday with Amy and it was super yummy so I went back with Rocky. We really enjoyed the food. We then came back home to more t.v. and relaxing and prepare for going back to work.
